The click tips require no tools to change: simply insert the cord deep into the tip, twist and release.

If a complex pattern is knitted and a mistake is made, it is difficult to un-ravel the knitted part again, as the stitches are hard to check.  It is simple though with the addiSOS- the lifeline thread can be simply fed directly into a row of stitches, using a slitted thread, which limits the extent to which unraveling takes place.  Applied for a patent.

Hold the rope and press the rope together to make the slit open,  Thread your auxiliary thread through the opening and continue to work as normal by hand.
